If you need an auto loan, get a bad credit auto loan or sub-prime auto loan. You will pay a higher interest rate due to your bad credit but if you pay on time you will be re-building your credit. It takes time to raise your score just stay on track with your payments. Good luck.

I want to repair my bad credit and have been doing some research on some of these credit repair companies. They all sound to good to be true! The majority of the items are old accounts, nothing major like a BK or Forclosure.

Late payments on bills look really bad, also try not to have to many accounts open. If you have 4 credit cards try to pay them off and close down at least two. It is good to have open credit, but not good when you have outstanding balances on all of them. Don’t put things on credit that you can easily pay cash for. i considered "eliminate bad credit for good on line sites" to my understanding they’re scams…bankrupcy sounds like the last option and i’m not that bad in debt..less than 5000…i’m hesitant in contacting creditors and the "bureaus"..i’m not trying to put the cart before the horse but, if my credit score is let’s say…544…how long ,realistically, would it take to have a decent credit score provided that i pay my debts???any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
